Cationic silica sol is a nanomaterial with high surface area and microporous structure. Due to its good adsorption performance and chemical stability, it has broad application prospects in the fields of separation and purification of molecules, catalytic reactions, biomedicine, etc. This paper reviews the preparation method, performance regulation and application of cationic silica sol in various fields, and looks forward to its future development trend.
