In order to further study the role of silica sol in color inkjet paper, scientists conducted a large number of experiments to explore the effects of different particle sizes and concentrations on printing performance.
In the experiment, the research team prepared three silica sols with different particle sizes (20 nanometers, 50 nanometers and 100 nanometers) and mixed them with other coating materials such as hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and polyvinyl alcohol to prepare a variety of coating formulas. These formulas were coated on the surface of ordinary paper to test their printing performance.
