Silica sol is a colloidal dispersion formed by nano-silicon dioxide (SiO₂) particles dispersed in water (or organic solvent), also known as silicic acid solution. It is usually a colorless or milky white transparent liquid with excellent properties such as large specific surface area and high adsorption, as well as high dispersion and high fire resistance and thermal insulation. Among these silica sols, large-particle silica sol has shown wide application potential in many fields due to its unique physical and chemical properties.
