Recently, the IOTA ST6 superhydrophobic nano-ceramic resin developed by Anhui Aiyota has attracted industry attention. This siloxane-modified resin, with the dual advantages of "room-temperature curing and high hardness & stain resistance", provides a new option for the protection of substrates such as glass, metal and ceramics.
The material does not require high-temperature baking. It can dry to the touch in 30 minutes at room temperature and achieve deep curing in 3 days, greatly lowering the construction threshold. After curing, the coating hardness reaches 5H, which can resist daily scratches. At the same time, the water contact angle exceeds 100°, allowing water droplets to slide off quickly and oil stains to be wiped clean instantly, solving the pain point of traditional protective coatings that "either are hard and brittle or not stain-resistant".
At present, IOTA ST6 has been applied in fields such as home appliance panels, architectural glass and bathroom ceramics. Its alcohol-soluble formula has no solvent volatilization, meeting the requirements of green environmental protection. In the future, it will also be expanded to the protection scenarios of new energy equipment, providing domestic technical support for the functional upgrading of material surfaces.
